2011 Green Innovators

Winner - Chariots of Philly

In 2011 the Greenfest Philly Green Innovator popular vote went to local pedi-cab company, Chariots of Philly. In 2003 Chariots of Philly began providing pedi-cab services in Manayunk but had to leave Philadelphia shortly after when pedi-cabs were banned by City Council due to lack of regulation. Chariots owner, Ben Dambman, spent four years lobbying Council and as a result pedi-cabs triumphantly returned to Philadelphia in May of 2010.
